Small purchase. Big impact.

Our friends at Everett Mission in Pakur, Jharkhand, Eastern India have a vision of a safe place for vulnerable women to be able to give birth, receive post-partum care, and skills training such as literacy, computer skills, sewing and candle making, to create a better path for themselves and their families. Many of these women have been rescued from human trafficking or are in a situation where they wouldn't be safe to have a normal pregnancy and delivery. This center is located at the second level above the Shiloh Residency orphanage and women will come from many surrounding villages and cities. Multiple OBGYN doctors and nurses have already volunteered to serve here once it is ready.

Last year they completed the construction of the walls and roof, and so many of you made that possible through purchasing and donating for the original white BAGN hats.

To fund the next phase of the project, we are rolling out a new black edition offered at a starting donation of $50. All proceeds are tax-deductible and go directly toward the cost of electrical, water plumbing, plaster, flooring, doors and windows. The estimated cost of the project is $39,000.

About the hats: we've partnered with Alter Ego Running for this custom production of high-quality performance running hats. They are lightweight, sweat-wicking, water-resistant, with a hidden key pocket behind the logo. Most people who bought a white one have told me it's now their favorite hat.

Your purchase is a tax-deductible donation to our nonprofit, Door of Hope. Feel free to purchase multiple, or pay as much as you're led for your hat. If you're not local to the Birmingham, AL area, your hat will be shipped to the mailing address you provide on the order form. Please consider adding in a bit of $ for shipping.

THANK YOU for helping us in BEING A GOOD NEIGHBOR!
